Mansfield Park

Mansfield Park is yet another Jane Austen book I love. I will admit that I am a Jane Austen freak and  always will be. Most people stick to the movies off of Jane Austen's books but the books are SOOOO much better you just have to get pass that they all have around 600 pages.  I have given many lectures to my friends on why they should read the actual book (not the abridged), but that is set for another day. Mansfield Park is about a girl named Fanny Price who was sent off to live with her (rich) cousins when she was ten years old. Although none of her cousins were mean, none of them were especially nice , except Edmund. She grows up to be a companion to her Aunt. Well, long story in short after Edmund realizes that the Miss Crawford  he believes himself to love with is not so great they get married and live happily ever after. The end. I  do not have the time to write a ten page book report on this book so I do not give it justice at all. YOU JUST HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!!!!!

I was Jane Austen's Best Friend

I love this book!It is about a girl who sneeks out of their boarding school very late at night to send a letter to her Aunt to come to care for Jane, who is very sick (this act could ruin her reputation). She meets a young Captain who asks her what she is doing unchaperoned on the streets of southhampton. After explaining her situation he helps her deliver the letter and escorts her back to the boarding school. Mrs. Austen comes and take the girls home and they go to many balls and dinners. At one of the balls she meets the young Captain again and they fall in love and get engaged. My summary of this book is very weak but you have to read the book to realize how completely AWESOME this book is!I suggest it for all middleschool and highschool girls.

Savannah from Savannah

This book was suggested to me by a good friend. I read it and LOVED  it. This book is about a girl named Savannah who comes home from college with a point to prove. You follow Savannah as she applies for a job as a journalist, deals with her mother, and just  lives her life.  One of the great things about this book is that you fall in love with the characters and by the end of the book you feel like Savannah is your best friend. I STRONGLY suggest this book for any girl looking for a fun read.

The reason people (like me) would have a blog.

So, I was thinking the other day why thousands of people would write a blog if only a few people would read it.The point is I know personally every single person that follows my blog.I also know that none of them read it.So why do I even have a blog? The answer is a VERY simple one, because it is fun.I mean really, why not?

Summer Fun!

Summer either can be the most fun you have ever had in your whole life or it can be incredibly boring! So if your having a incredibly boring summer, here some things that you can do to perk it up.
1.Try fun crafts( like making a giant 12ft long picture with your friends)
2.Make a blog
3.Do something productive (not TV!)
4.Try a new sport or activity.
5.Do something crazy (like fill up play pool with cool whip or mud and jump in it)
6.Teach yourself a language
7.Plan a GIANT spend the night party
Try some of these things and maybe instead of sitting in front of the T.V. wishing  you were at the beach actually have some fun!:)

My Bucket List

Ok, so I know I usually just write about books but this time I am going to write my bucket list. The reason for this is I entered a giveway on another blog and all you had to do to enter is post your bucket list. I don't expect to win, I've never won a raffle or giveaway in my entire life, but still I think it will be fun to write down (or in this case type) what you would like to do before you die.So here goes................
1.Travel the world
2.Become a Proverbs 31 woman
3.Go on at least one mission trip during colledge or highschool
4.Go to Cumberland Island and stay at The Greyfield Inn.
5.Sky dive
6.Try strange types of food
7.Learn French
That about sums it up for me!:)

The Sierra Jensen Series

The Sierra Jensen Series by Robin Jones Gunn is a great Christian book series. It is completely clean except a little romance.I would reccomend it to all middleschool and highschool girls( I will warn you that it is a pretty long series).:)

Penny from Heaven

This book by Jennifer Holm is very cute! I think people of all ages would enjoy this heartwarming book very much.It is completely clean! This book, that is set in the 1950s, is about a eleven year old girl's summer which is full of unexpected surprises. It is relatively short at 256 pages.

The Fellowship of the Ring

The Fellowship of the Ring is another one of my all time favorites! This book is the first book in the lord of the ring series. This book is suspense filled and fairly clean (except for maybe a few cuss words and violence). I recommend this book for middleschoolers with a VERY high reading level and all highschoolers that like suspense filled books.I will warn you that this is a long book.:)

Ballet Shoes

Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfield is a fun, clean, quick and an easy read! I recommend it for middleschoolers of all reading levels although, it is probably above a highschoolers reading level.:)

Pride and Predjudice

Jane Austen is one my ALL time favorite authors!!!I love her work ecspecially Pride and Predjudice. Pride and Predjudice is completely clean although there is some romance:)! It is a long book and it is also hard to read so I suggest it only for strong readers.
